Dave Plush Fulfillment Notification

The following applies to existing pre-orders of the Dave Plush as of August 2025.

Hello everyone,

First, we would like to announce that the Dave Plush will begin to ship out in about two weeks. Over the past months our team has made significant progress setting up our own workshop space, and we’re currently fully operational with our in-house plush production.

We kindly request all customers of the Dave Plush to check their address. The last day to update Dave Plush order addresses is August 22th, 2025.

After this date, no changes can be made, and Pawprint Press cannot be held responsible for any changes or misdelivery.

  • To update your address, email contact@pawprint.press with your order number and new address details.
  • If you wish to do so, orders can also be canceled any time before fulfilment through your account at store.pawprint.press, or from the "view order" button in your order confirmation email.
  • You may also contact us to cancel your order.
  • Customer support will be unable to guarantee cancellations or address changes after August 20th, 2025.

International orders will ship first, directly from our space in China. U.S. orders follow once the stock arrives in California. Because of current import conditions, there may be unexpected delays. If it becomes necessary, we may ship these orders directly from China to ensure timely delivery.

Additionally, a small batch of the Dave Plush will be made available to purchase shortly prior to pre-order fulfilment. We made sure to produce some extra stock for those who missed out! Opening orders for this stock now ensures we can ship to everyone efficiently (and that our warehouse doesn’t become overwhelmed holding so many yeens!) Rest assured, pre-orders will be prioritised during fulfilment.

We’re proud to share that the Dave Plush is our first truly in-house product! With the exception of embroidery, every step was completed by our own craftspeople. The embroidery was handled by a small three-person workshop with over 15 years of experience with a team member on site to monitor every step of the process.

Rather than rely on typically low-quality industry standards, we’ve opted for sourcing our materials—such as the filling and embroidery thread provided to the external factory—and creating custom plush fabrics with our supplier in Korea. We primarily use OKEO-TEX certified materials, and are working towards full certification on our custom fabrics in the future.

We’re equally committed to fair labour. By relying upon our own staff, everyone directly involved in the project is able to receive top-tier local wages plus full social security and health insurance— benefits that are unfortunately uncommon in much of the industry. As a result, our workers can take the time they need to make each product and our first-pass yield now exceeds 95%, equaling more consistent quality and fewer delays.

Finally, we sincerely apologise for the long delay. This product is long overdue, but we hope that when Dave arrives you can feel the care and commitment that went into him. While possible that we could have shipped a ‘good-enough’ product some time ago, we wanted to put our best work forward.

And once again, we would like to thank all the customers who have stood by us and kept their pre-orders, regardless of the delays. With your support behind our in-house production line, we endeavour to bring you some of the best plushies in the world!
