Plush Delay Update - January 2025
The following notice applies to existing pre-orders for the Axel Plush, Dave Plush, William Plush, & Lyall Plush as of January 2025.

Hello everyone,
Firstly, we would like to announce that the Axel Plush will soon finish production and ship out! This update will cover the fulfilment plan for the Axel Plush, along with the progress we’ve made on the Dave Plush, William Plush, and Lyall Plush.
Since August, our team has been preparing our own workshop space in China. While the workspace is operational, there have been many hurdles working directly with factories while ramping up towards in-house production. Currently we’re looking to recruit dedicated seamsters to speed up the process, and we expect to have some progress after the new year break. Thankfully, these efforts have resulted in our previous plush backlog hurdling towards completion, starting with the Axel Plush!

What Axel Plush customers need to know.
We kindly request all customers of the Axel Plush to check their address. The last day to update Axel Plush order addresses is February 20th, 2025.
After this date, no changes can be made, and Pawprint Press cannot be held responsible for any changes or misdelivery.
If necessary, see the bottom of this update for details on how to change your address. This information has also been emailed to all Axel Plush customers.
After over a year of hard work, the Axel Plush is almost ready! Currently, the full production of the plush and most accessories are done— however, due to issues out of our control the denim pants could not be completed prior to the Spring Festival holiday.
In order to ensure pre-order fulfilment can be completed as soon as possible, we have begun sending Axel Plush w/o pants to our US warehouse in advance. Once the pants are completed, they will be sent by air to our US warehouse.
We expect the Axel Plush to begin shipping in the final week of February 2025.
- Orders will be fulfilled from both our US and China warehouses, based on the destination country and the shipping method originally selected at checkout.
- EU orders may not be able to be shipped from the US. This is because our shipping aggregator does not support the electronic transmission of IOSS to FedEx at the moment, potentially resulting in double taxation. We will contact affected customers if necessary.
- Orders combined with other items will be separated, and the Axel Plush will be fulfilled individually.
When will the Axel Plush be available again?
A small batch of the Axel Plush will be made available during the first week of February! While we produced more than is necessary to cover existing orders, the rest of the stock is limited and may not last long.
New orders made in February will ship at the same time as all pre-orders, however, this product will no longer be sold at the pre-order price.
If there is sufficient demand, we will consider opening up a second round of pre-orders for the Axel Plush in the future.
What Dave, William, & Lyall Plush customers need to know.
We’re pleased to announce that production is being fast-tracked after February! We expect the Dave Plush, William Plush, & Lyall Plush to be ready by the end of Q2 2025.
The current status of these designs is as follows:
- BODY Dave | William | Lyall — All body materials are ordered and ready for production.
- OUTFIT Dave | William (Standard) — These outfits require materials imported from Korea. This is being acquired in mid-February.
- OUTFIT Lyall | William (Baseball) — These outfits require additional materials that we are still determining a supplier for.
Based on the above, we anticipate these designs to be ready in the following order:
- #1 Dave Plush
- #2 William Plush (Standard)
- #3 Lyall Plush
- #4 William Plush (Baseball)

Need to update your address or change your order?
We allow address changes or refunds on all pre-orders prior to fulfilment. If you wish to change addresses or change your order, we’d like to remind you:
- To update your address, email contact@pawprint.press with your order number and new address details.
- Orders can also be canceled any time before fulfilment through your account at store.pawprint.press, or from the "view order" button in your order confirmation email.
- You may also contact us to cancel your order.
- Customer support will be unable to guarantee Axel Plush cancellations or address changes after February 20th, 2025.
Finally, we would like to thank all the customers who have stood by us and kept their pre-orders, regardless of the delays. While it took a long path to get here, we are now in a position to secure our own production line to ensure better turnaround times on new batches and new plush designs.
