Account Portal Terms of Service
LAST UPDATED: APRIL 16, 2026
If you link your Official Store account to your account.pawprint.press account, your use of the Official Store itself remains governed by the Official Store Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Before you agree to these Terms, please read the DISCLAIMERS and CONSUMER RIGHTS AND REGIONAL NOTICES sections below. They set out important limits on our liability and explain your statutory rights as a consumer in your jurisdiction.
OVERVIEW
account.pawprint.press (the "Portal," the "Service") is a customer account portal operated by Pawprint Press. For clarity, whenever we use the terms "we," "us," or "our" in these terms, we're referring to Pawprint Press.
The Portal lets you:
- create and manage a Pawprint Press account;
- register products you've purchased from Pawprint Press or its authorized resellers;
- contact us by submitting support tickets;
- optionally link your Pawprint Press Official Store (Shopify) account so the Portal can retrieve your customer profile and order history from the Official Store on your behalf.
By registering for, accessing, or otherwise using the Portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), together with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Portal.
These Terms apply only to the Portal itself. Your use of the Pawprint Press Official Store is governed by the Official Store's own Terms of Service. Your use of any third-party service linked from or embedded in the Portal is governed by the terms of that third-party service.
ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state or province of residence (whichever is greater), to create an account on the Portal. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
The Portal is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND SECURITY
When you register, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, and to keep that information updated. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure. We use passwordless sign-in: when you sign in, we send a short-lived, single-use "magic link" to the email address on your account, and clicking that link signs you in. You must not forward magic sign-in links to anyone else, allow any other person to use your account, or use another person's account. Because your sign-in links are delivered to your email, you are also responsible for keeping your email account secure. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, contact us immediately.
We may suspend or terminate your account if we have reasonable grounds to believe you have violated these Terms, provided false information, or used the Portal in a manner that could harm us, other users, or any third party.
LINKING YOUR PAWPRINT PRESS OFFICIAL STORE ACCOUNT
You may optionally link your Pawprint Press Official Store (Shopify) account to your Portal account. Linking is not required to use the Portal.
When you authorize the linkage:
- you authorize the Portal to retrieve, on your behalf, your customer profile, contact information, and order history from the Official Store;
- the Portal will use this information to populate your Portal account, speed up product registration, and provide context for support tickets;
- the Portal's collection and handling of data retrieved from the Official Store is governed by our Privacy Policy;
- the underlying relationship between you and the Official Store remains governed by the Official Store Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
You may disconnect the linkage at any time from your Portal account settings. Disconnection stops future data retrieval; data already retrieved and stored in the Portal will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
PRODUCT REGISTRATION
The Portal lets you register products you've purchased. Some products ship with a QR code on or inside the packaging that you can scan to start registration; not all products include one. Whether you register via QR code or by entering details manually, you may be asked to provide purchase details such as the order number, purchase date, retailer, and any serial or batch identifier. You agree to provide accurate information.
Registering a product in the Portal is a convenience feature. It is not a substitute for any receipt, invoice, warranty card, or other document that may be required to exercise statutory or contractual rights relating to that product. Eligibility for any warranty, refund, or replacement program is determined solely in accordance with the applicable product warranty, our Refund Policy, and applicable law — not by whether a product is registered in the Portal.
SUPPORT TICKETS
The Portal lets you contact us by submitting support tickets, and you may attach files (such as photos, documents, or screen recordings) to a ticket to help us resolve your request. When you submit a ticket:
- you authorize us to read, process, and respond to the ticket, and to associate it with your Portal account and (if linked) your Official Store account;
- if you upload one or more files as attachments, you authorize us to open, download, read, and process those files to the extent necessary to review and respond to your ticket;
- you agree not to submit content, or upload files, that are unlawful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or infringing, or that contain viruses, worms, ransomware, or any other malicious or destructive code;
- you agree not to submit payment card numbers, sign-in credentials or magic links for any account, government-issued identification numbers, or other sensitive information that is not necessary to resolve your request.
We may close, consolidate, or decline tickets that are abusive, off-topic, or duplicative.
USER CONTENT
Any text, file, or other material you submit through the Portal (including through support tickets and product registration forms) is "User Content." You retain all rights in your User Content.
By submitting User Content to us, you authorize us and our service providers acting on our behalf to access, store, copy, process, and display your User Content as necessary to operate the Portal, respond to your requests, and carry out the other purposes described in our Privacy Policy. This authorization ends when you delete the relevant User Content or close your Portal account, except to the extent we need to retain or continue processing the content to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce these Terms, or as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.
You represent and warrant that, to the best of your knowledge, your User Content does not violate any third-party right (including privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or contractual rights) and does not violate applicable law. Where your User Content includes personal data or images of other identifiable individuals, you confirm that you have obtained any consents required by applicable law before submitting it.
Nothing in this section waives or purports to waive any moral rights or similar inalienable rights you may have under applicable law.
NOTICE OF ILLEGAL CONTENT
If you believe that content stored on or transmitted through the Portal — for example, a file attached to a support ticket — is illegal under applicable law or infringes your rights, please notify us. To help us act on your report, please include:
- a sufficiently precise description of the content and where it is located;
- an explanation of why you believe the content is illegal or infringes your rights;
- your name and contact details (email is sufficient); and
- a good-faith statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, to the best of your knowledge, complete.
We will review valid notices without undue delay and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the content, inform the user who submitted it, and take any other action we consider necessary. We may also report suspected illegal content to the relevant law-enforcement or regulatory authorities as required by applicable law.
PROHIBITED USES
In addition to the other restrictions in these Terms, you may not:
- use the Portal for any unlawful purpose, or to solicit or encourage any unlawful act;
- access the Portal by any automated means, including bots, scrapers, or crawlers, except as expressly permitted by us in writing;
- attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Portal, or breach any security or authentication measures;
- impersonate any person, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person;
- interfere with the operation of the Portal, or with any other user's use of the Portal;
- upload or transmit any virus, worm, or other malicious code;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Portal, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Portal for any violation of these restrictions.
CHANGES TO THE SERVICE
We may add, modify, or discontinue features of the Portal at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Portal.
DISCLAIMERS
THE PORTAL IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING (TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW) WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PORTAL WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE PORTAL OR THE SERVERS THAT MAKE IT AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Pawprint Press, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, or their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, or service providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Portal, whether based in contract, tort, strict liability, or any other theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Because some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such states or jurisdictions our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
CONSUMER RIGHTS AND REGIONAL NOTICES
Nothing in these Terms — including the disclaimers, the limitation of liability, and the indemnification provisions — affects any statutory consumer rights you may have under the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside, to the extent those rights cannot be waived by contract.
European Union and European Economic Area
If you are a consumer in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have rights under Directive 2011/83/EU (the Consumer Rights Directive), Directive 93/13/EEC (on unfair terms in consumer contracts), and Directive 2019/770 (the Digital Content Directive) that apply to our Portal, including statutory remedies in the event of non-conformity or failure to supply. Our disclaimers and liability limits apply only to the extent permitted by those Directives and the national laws implementing them.
United Kingdom
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom, you have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the implied terms that digital content and services will be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and supplied with reasonable care and skill. These rights cannot be excluded or restricted by these Terms.
Australia
If you are a consumer in Australia, our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies the application of those consumer guarantees or any right or remedy available to you under the Australian Consumer Law. Where the Australian Consumer Law applies, our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited only to the extent permitted by section 64A of that Law.
California (United States)
Pursuant to California Civil Code § 1789.3, California residents are entitled to the following specific consumer-rights notice:
- Provider of the Service: The Portal is provided by Pawprint Press, operated by PROJECT PRESS INC., located at 1801 Flower Ave, STE F1, Duarte, CA 91010, United States of America.
- Contact for complaints or questions: contact@pawprint.press.
- Fees: Use of the Portal itself is free of charge. Products and services purchased through the Pawprint Press Official Store are governed by the Official Store's own terms and pricing.
The Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs may be contacted in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by telephone at (800) 952-5210.
INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pawprint Press and its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and service providers from and against any claim, demand, loss, or damage, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party arising out of or relating to your breach of these Terms, your User Content, or your violation of applicable law or the rights of any third party.
TERMINATION
You may terminate these Terms at any time by closing your Portal account through the Portal's account settings or by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend these Terms and your access to the Portal at any time, for any reason permitted by applicable law. Except where immediate termination is necessary to protect us, other users, or third parties — for example, in response to a material breach of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, a security threat, or a legal obligation — we will provide you with reasonable prior notice before terminating your account for convenience.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including User Content, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will survive.
SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, or severed if it cannot be so enforced. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions, which will continue in full force and effect.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms, and any separate agreement under which we provide you the Portal, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the jurisdiction in which you reside.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
If you have a concern or complaint about the Portal, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can try to resolve it informally.
Consumers in the European Union and European Economic Area may have the right to submit consumer disputes to a certified alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body in their country of residence under Directive 2013/11/EU. We are not obliged to participate in ADR procedures and prefer to resolve disputes with you directly where possible.
Consumers in the United Kingdom: as required by the Alternative Dispute Resolution for Consumer Disputes (Competent Authorities and Information) Regulations 2015, we confirm that we do not currently subscribe to a certified alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider. You retain any statutory rights you may have to pursue alternative dispute resolution or to bring a claim in court.
Nothing in this section affects your right to bring a claim in the courts of the jurisdiction in which you reside, to the extent that right is guaranteed by applicable law.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice — for example, by email to the address associated with your account or by conspicuous notice within the Portal — at least 30 days before the change takes effect. You can always check the "LAST UPDATED" date at the top of this page; that date marks when the new terms take effect.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may close your Portal account before they take effect, and your use of the Portal before that date will continue to be governed by the Terms in effect at the time. Your continued use of the Portal after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
