"Remote Areas"
At times, shipping to locations classified as "remote areas" may require extra effort. Some couriers charge additional fees, while others may not deliver to these locations at all. We use the term "remote areas" in quotes because certain places might not seem remote, but are not easily incorporated into our existing logistics system. This page aims to explain how we handle such situations.
Our primary objective is to offer customers in "remote areas" shipping prices as close as possible to those living in "common areas". Achieving this goal may involve workarounds and additional steps, which will mostly be managed on our end. We hope you understand these procedures, and we assure you that we will strive to make the process as seamless as possible.

Many of us have lived, or still live, in "remote areas" by varying definitions, so we understand the significance of dependable and reasonably priced deliveries. Australia
Shipping to rural and remote areas costs much higher than urban areas. It should also be noted that private couriers often have a narrower definition of "urban areas" than the Australian Bureau of Statistics and the government RRMA standard. For example, Hobart is usually considered a remote destination.
If you're not in one of the metropolitan areas (in the narrowest sense) listed below, we recommend you verify the shipping cost at checkout before placing your order:

Italy
The private courier we work with does not deliver to certain rural destinations in Italy. Shipping to these destinations is via postal channels at a higher price, with a weight limit of 2kg and volume limit of 12,000 cubic centimeters.
Due to how scattered the postal codes of undeliverable destinations are, we're unable to disclose the full list on this page. We recommend our Italian customers verify the shipping charges at checkout if your shipping address is not in an urban area.
Indonesia
Shipping to destinations outside Java is subject to a higher price plus a surcharge. Shipping to Greater Jakarta is eligible for a small discount. All applicable surcharges and discounts will be included in the shipping price at checkout.
Japan
Shipping to Okinawa is subject to a high surcharge, which will be included in the shipping price at checkout. This is because of similar policies to those we face in the Untied States.
Malaysia
Shipping to East Malaysia is subject to a higher price and a surcharge, which will be included in the shipping price at checkout. Note that this does not apply to Labuan.
Portugal
We can only ship via postal channels to destinations outside Mainland Portugal with higher prices and more limitations. This is because of similar policies to those we face in the Untied States.
Parcels are limited to 2kg and below 12,000 cubic centimeters for destinations in Azores and Madeira.
Singapore
Shipping to certain destinations in Singapore is subject to a high remote surcharge (yes, we know how bizarre it sounds).
Due to how scattered the postal codes of undeliverable destinations are, we're unable to disclose the full list on this page. However, the list primarily consists of the following places:
- Residential areas in Sentosa
- Resorts World
- Military addresses
- Department of Defense office buildings
- Defense contractor facilities
- Jurong Port
- Woodlands and Tuas industrial zones
- Airports of Changi, Paya Lebar, and Seletar, plus their adjacent facilities
Spain
We can only ship via postal channels to destinations outside Mainland Spain with higher prices and more limitations. This is because of similar policies to those we face in the Untied States.
Parcels are limited to 2kg and below 12,000 cubic centimeters for destinations in:

United States
Outside the Contiguous 48 States
We primarily ship our products to U.S. customers from our California warehouse, where shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and other U.S. territories are processed as regular domestic shipments. Occasionally, we may need to ship certain products from overseas, and in such cases, the logistics for orders outside the contiguous 48 states will be slightly different.
For most overseas shipments to the U.S., our courier redistributes the packages within the country, and domestic couriers handle the final delivery. However, our courier does not offer delivery options outside the contiguous 48 states, as there is a government subsidy on postage to these areas. This subsidy is intended for domestic use and should not be exploited by private businesses for profit.
To address this, we typically ship these orders to our California facility first, then forward them to the final destination via USPS. While this process is more complex, it enables us to offer the same shipping rates to all U.S. customers. Compared to shipping directly from overseas through postal services, this method is faster, more cost-effective, and reliable.
